Accessing the TA98 partonomic lists

This page gives access to the TA98 original terminology through the partonomic lists hierarchized by chapters, subchapters, sections and subsections.

The presentation is in two parts: first, the TNA (chapters 14 and 15) is displayed with a detailed access to the subparts; second, the whole terminology TA98 is presented by chapters from 1 to 16.

The different presented translations are available in the public domain. The precise source of these translations is given in the help file about TA98 pages. Currently the Latin, English, French and Spanish versions are available. The Russian version is in preparation.

The navigation between TA98 pages is possible. It is based on a hierarchy of main lists and subparts. This hierarchy is not principally defined by the content of the terminology, but depends on pragmatic criteria in order to facilitate the exploration of the terminology.

The present page gives access to the main lists. Each list, in its left column, provides further links to the sublists, to be selected by the user. Each page has on top a navigation section giving access back to the main lists. A return link to the actual page is also present.

The language selection may be performed on this page, by the link on right top from the language icon. Once the selection has been set, it remains permanent as long as it is not changed. But it can be changed by the user at any moment from any page.

The language selection is twofold. Either one selects a subsidiary modern language with Latin as main language and with English as presentation language. Or one selects a modern language as main language, with Latin as subsidiary language and the presentation with the selected modern language.
