The Rete articulare coxae is an arterial network, supplying the area around the caput femoris, comprising branches from the superior and inferior gluteal arteries and of the medial and lateral circumflex femoral arteries (Kachlik et al. 2018 Surg Radiol Anat 40:532-562).
