Redirectional notes (e.g., "See page xx", and "See also page xx") occur in several entries in Terminologia anatomica (1998). Most of these have been altered in this online version of TA98 because references to page numbers are irrelevant. Three notes were omitted because the TA code of the entry in question provides the location of the earlier, primary entry of the entity with the subsequent listing of its parts.  In addition, three new notes were added to the online version to mark the removal of three misplaced secondary entries. Directional notes appear to have been used inconsistently in TA98, as several other similar directional notes could have been employed to direct user to the place in the anatomical nomenclature list where parts of that entity are listed. The following is a list of the altered, omitted and new directional notes.
